When he wins the prize, there's just one problem: the publisher insists on meeting the author in person. Desperate for the cash, Leonard creates a spectacular alter ego, donning high heels, a wig, and lipstick to pose as his own fictitious aunt. His scheming teenage daughter Dee Dee and his rascally father Gus play along with the charade — but not without demanding financial rewards for their silence. As the deception spirals out of control, Leonard's problems multiply when he falls hopelessly in love with Harriet, the very publisher he's been fooling.
